Garmin nuvi
1350 Review
In the earlier times, if a person needed to go to a new
territory or a place, he could either purchase a map or ask
people for directions. There were times that one misread the
map or the directions were wrong, which led to a lot of wastage
of time and energy. However, these days, whether you are in
your own country or a foreign land you can go wherever you want
with the new Garmin nuvi 1350.

Garmin
nuvi 1350 GPS Navigator
The Garmin 1350 has a 4.3" wide screen
that enhances the navigation experience. This GPS device comes
loaded with maps for the US and Europe. You
can know the name of the street you are in and also be guided
to the right lane with this device. If you want to save your
fuel and get the shortest route possible, the ecoRoute™ feature
can help you.
The nuvi 1350 is sleeker and
slimmer than the other GPS devices. You
can put it in your purse or pocket. The rechargeable lithium
batteries are idea for traveling by car or for a walk across
the street. If you want to know about the trams, buses and
subways of the city you are in you can use the Public Transit
mode with the help of the
CityXplorer™ download.
If you are driving to a new place, the lane assist feature
of Garmin Nüvi 1350 will help you decide the right lane for
making a turn or an exit. So you don’t need to guess or ask
anyone about an upcoming turn except your Garmin nuvi 1350.
Actual user review:
• "It didn't take me long to know that I purchased a
superior product. I needed the bigger volume due to my poor
hearing and this has it. Also, the maps are up to date and this
was a minor concern as there were homes that did not show up on
my previous model. Visual aids are well managed and keeps you
from saying "what?" I assume that this model is Bluetooth
capable but I have not been able to pair it with my cell as yet
and I am not paying someone to tell me how to do it. The manual
is not as detailed as I like but I am very pleased with what it
does." - K.Wohlers (Oregan, KY)
With the bright widescreen display it's easy to get the
complete picture. You can get driving directions, map details,
photo images all in bright colors to read in bright sunlight or
the darkest of the night.
If you need to go a new place, the nuvi 1350 will ask you
just two questions: “where to?” and “View map”. Once you have
finalized your destination, it will tell you exactly how to
proceed and give you all the street names and directions that
will help you reach your destination. The City
Navigator NT maps will also advise you on the
speed limit on the important roads and tell you about the
Points of Interest (POI). You can even know about the
surrounding landscape with the help of the digital elevation
maps that have shaded contours and great zoom levels. The
Garmin Nüvi 1350 has an interactive user interface that allows
you to toggle between screens with your finger.
The color screen also tells you the important names,
addresses and services. You get voice prompted directions and
street names. So, if you are in a foreign country then you
don’t need to wonder how a particular street name is
pronounced. The Garmin 1350 will tell you that! It also has a
satellite prediction feature which helps you to calculate the
distance and the position from your destination and helps you
to get there quickly. Other features like money calculator,
time zones and world travel clock make this device a perfect
companion for a traveler!
