Affordably priced and already loaded with many innovative

destination.

Garmin
nuvi 200 GPS Navigator
Product Overview
Much like all of the Nuvis in the 200 series, the Nuvi 200
model offers an incredibly slim and sleek design that fits
neatly down in a pocket, suitcase, or handbag and is available
in two different colors, the classic silver or pink. But,
whatever color you choose, the Nuvi 200 will always be in style
with its top of the line navigation features and the intuitive,
easy to use design.
The 3.5 inch diagonal display of the Garmin Nuvi 200 has
touchscreen capabilities making it easy to access a variety of
features with just the touch of a fingertip. And, because the
device is completely ready to go right out of the box, there
are no complicated configurations to enter or any lengthy
set-up steps to go through. Also, the device is readable in all
types of light as it houses a white backlight and the display
is an antiglare one so that even in the brightest sunlight
you'll still be able to see the screen and all of its many
details.
The Garmin Nuvi 200 GPS comes with a set up and go guide,
dashboard disc, vehicle power cable and vehicle suction cup
mount as well as a rechargeable lithium ion battery that will
operate the unit for up to five hours without being connected
to a power source, making it easy to navigate either in the car
or while on foot.
Notable Benefits and Features
Loaded with City Navigator NT Street Maps for the
continental United States, including both Hawaii and Puerto
Rico, the Nuvi 200 is also capable of displaying maps from one
country or region in Europe, and users have the choice of
viewing either 2D or 3D perspective displays.
Like all of the Nuvis from Garmin, the 200 model is
preloaded with six million points of interest (POI), which may
include everything from hotels, motels, and restaurants, to gas
stations, ATM machines, local attractions and landmarks, as
well as police stations and hospitals. Users may also add their
own customized POI to refer to during their future travels and
the device even provides proximity alerts when you near an
upcoming POI on the list.
Truly customize all of your travel experiences with the
Garmin Garage feature where users can download car-shaped icons
to represent their position on the map and choose from
everything from bicycles to RVs to tanks, motorcycles, and
sport's cars. The Nuvi 200 also contains the Garmin Lock
antitheft feature which will render the device unusable without
a PIN number selected by the user, or unless the unit is first
taken to a secure location that's been determined ahead of
time.
Going above and beyond just simple navigation, the Nuvi 200
also contains several other tools such as the JPEG picture
viewer, allowing you to download your own pictures and display
them all on the GPS, a world travel clock that is complete with
time zones, making it easy to stay on track, a calculator, a
currency and measurement converter, and plenty more.
With an optional plug-in SD card, which is not included with
the GPS unit, users can purchase additional information to load
into their Nuvi 200 such as Garmin's Travel Guides for details
about specific areas and attractions, or their SaversGuide that
offers discounts and savings from a variety of merchants.
