Garmin nuvi 750 Review
Loaded with premium navigation features, the Garmin
nuvi 750 is more than just a GPS (global positioning
system) device . It's full of useful functions like playing
MP3s, automatically making adjustments for time zone changes,
converting currency, and many more useful features.
Product Overview
Ready to go right out of the box, the easy to see
4.3 inch widescreen display of the device with
its touchscreen capabilities is readable even in the brightest
sunlight, and its intuitive design makes it simple to get
started even if you've never used a GPS device before.

Garmin
nuvi 750 GPS Navigator
As with all Nuvis, the 750 is loaded with nearly six
million points of interest (POI) that offer instant
directions and details to places of interest such as amusement
parks, landmarks, hotels, motels, gas stations, supermarkets,
hospitals, police and fire stations, and many more. Users can
program their own personalized POI as well to make it simple to
find their way back to their hotel or restaurant while
traveling out of town.
Thinner than Garmin's 600 series of Nuvis, the Garmin nuvi
750 is perfect for slipping into a pocket or tucked away in a
purse and because the unit will run up to five
hours without being connected to a power source thanks
to its rechargeable lithium ion battery, you
can travel by foot or bicycle as well and never have to worry
about losing your way back with step by step directions.
Included with the purchase of the Garmin Nuvi 750 is the
vehicle suction cup mount and power cable, USB cable, dashboard
disc, and Quick Start manual for easy operation. The unit is
also preloaded with maps for either North
America or Europe, however, the
built-in FM transmitter is available only in the U.S., Canada,
Australia, and New Zealand.
Notable Benefits and Features
Loaded with detailed maps of the United
States, Canada, and Puerto
Rico, you'll be able to travel with ease throughout
North America viewing realistic images of buildings and street
signs, many of which are in 3D. A free three month trial with
MSN Direct services is also included with the Nuvi 750, and
optional content is also available via an SD card (not
included) that give you travel guides and savings options in
the form of discounts from local merchants to use on your next
trip or vacation.
Far more than simply a portable navigator, the Nuvi 750 is
also capable of displaying JPEG pictures and
playing MP3s due to its wireless FM
transmitter that allows you to listen to audio through
the car's speakers as well as the text to speech directions or
voice prompts.
The Garmin LockTM feature is a
patent pending antitheft prevention system that will
automatically and completely disable the device from being used
unless a four digit PIN number is entered, or unless the device
is preprogrammed to operate only in a specific location.
Need to know where you are or where you parked your car?
Touching the "Where Am I?" icon will let you know your
proximity to the nearest intersections or address, even giving
your exact latitude and longitude, and the device remembers the
vehicle's position for up to three days after being removed
from its dashboard mount.
Need to know where you've been? The Nuvi 750 offers an
"electronic breadcrumb trail" trip log feature that allows you
to see up to 10,000 points on the map giving you a detailed
look at exactly where you've been and how you got there. The
device's Multi-Destination Routing feature
will help you to plot the fastest routes to your destination
and is able to remember up to ten different routes, allowing
you to make the most of your time and your car's gas
mileage.
