Garmin continue to top the list with their 2012 models. Moving up to top spot is their latest 5" widescreen model Garmin nuvi 2555LMT. In 2nd spot is its smaller 4.3" Garmin nuvi 2455LMT which also comes with Free Lifetime Traffic & Maps update. Occupying 3rd place is the higher end Garmin nuvi 2595LMT.

Garmin nuvi 2455LMT - The Garmin nuvi 2455LMT is one of the first devices to feature the Garmin Guidance 2.0 interface which is an intuitive interface that combines some familiar elements with useful improvements like smart search that offers a list of suggestions as you type. With free lifetime traffic updates from 3D Traffic, Garmin's most extensive traffic avoidance system, nuvi 2455LMT helps you avoid delays. 4. Garmin nuvi 2495LMT - The Garmin nuvi 2495LMT is the top of the line 4.3” unit in Garmin’s 2012 nuvi Advanced series line. It comes with improved customization options, easy to use search functionality and Exit Services. Preloaded maps of the US, Canada and Mexico are included. As a premium model, the nuvi 2495LMT also offers voice command, Bluetooth for hands free calling, as well as lifetime maps and traffic.
   
   
5. Garmin nuvi 3590LMT - The nuvi 3590LMT is one of Garmin's thinnest and nicest looking 5" touchscreen GPS. Garmin nuvi 50LM - The budget priced 5" widescreen nuvi 50LM comes with lifetime map updates and some features not previously found on low-end models, such as speed limit display, lane assist and junction view. Performance is excellent for a budget model. It recalculates the directions quickly and it is very quick to acquire satellites. The option that indicates you are over the speed limit is especially neat.
   
   
7. Garmin nuvi 40LM - The 4.3" Garmin nuvi 40LM is Garmin's entry level model. While it doesn't really bring anything new to the table, it manages to combine some of the best features for an attractive price. Comes with lifetime map updates, lane assist, speed limit indicator and maps for the lower 49 States. The nuvi 40LM is a good choice if you don’t need bells and whistles.
