TomTom GO 530 GPS Navigator
Review
The TomTom 530 is the budget buy of the
TomTom family. It comes pre-installed with door-to-door maps of
the United Kingdom.
It does not come with Enhanced Positioning Technology like
the 930, which can be quite annoying as the signal might be
lost when traveling through tunnels and in highly built areas
in the country. This is a problem faced by many TomTom models
so it is quite natural for the TomTom GO530 to suffer from
similar issues. But, many people are used to this occurrence
and do not pay it even the slightest attention.
The traffic version TomTom 530T is
$100 more than the non-traffic one. The traffic version comes
with a receiver that allows the TomTom to access data from both
traffic generated data and mobile generated data. This helps
the unit to accurately re-direct you through traffic if it is
possible to do so.
The unit is very useful and effective; it is full of helpful
features from the 930/730 like Advanced Lane Guidance and IQ
Routes. The unit also has quite an attractive price tag that
could make it a favorite among many.
The only downside is that you cannot make use of it overseas
but who needs a GPS when on holiday. If you are working on a
budget, this unit will give you value for your money, it has
plenty of features and looks very smart and sophisticated.

and easily installable. The package also contains a car charger
