Actual user review:
• "I bought the TomTom One GPS for a cross-country
drive I took with my 16 year old son. We'd use it to find the
best route from one part of the country to the next. I have a
built-in GPS in another car (a Lexus) and we both felt the
TomTom worked even better. It was precise, easy to setup and
understand and got us where we wanted to go. Given the price, I
didn't have very high expectations. We were very pleasantly
surprised." - R,Rosell (WA,USA)
Notable Benefits and Features
Start out by choosing from one of two different navigation
modes with the TomTom 125 GPS, either auto or pedestrian,
making it simple to find your way however you're traveling. The
most useful feature of the pedestrian mode is that the unit
will disregard things like one-way streets or other similar
road restrictions pertaining to travel by car that will make it
simple to find your way on foot or by bike.
And, the included rechargeable battery will operate the
TomTom 125 for up to three hours without being connected to a
power source, giving you ample time to explore the area.
Load the TomTom Home software onto your personal computer
that's accessible from TomTom's website for everything from
backing up your device's information to downloading extras like
additional maps and features, to keeping up with all of the
latest software updates. Or, even plan all of your trips in
advance with your computer and the device's Planning
Preferences feature that provide you with an array of
customizable travel options.
The systems requirements of the TomTom 125 are either
Windows XP, 2000, or Vista editions, or a Macintosh operating
system of 10.4 or higher. It's also recommended to have at
least 256 megabytes of RAM and preferably a broadband
connection for downloading additional data from TomTom.
The favorites menu of the TomTom 125 allows users to store
the locations to their most frequently visited locations and
access them via one of many menu options including Recent
Destinations, Addresses, Home, My Location, Last Stop, and
several other options.
The TomTom 125 comes already programmed with 10 female and
male voices in three different languages, or users can choose
from a number of celebrity voices to download and use for the
voice prompt feature and there are even more personalization

reviews:
• "Great product! Well worth the price. We use this
anytime we travel and it hasn't let us down yet. We purchased
it specifically for our vacation and TomTom took us from the
rental car lot, straight to our condo unit, then to the theme
park, to a movie theatre, to another hotel and back to the
rental car lot. I wouldn't leave home without it."
C.Struab (MN,USA)
• "Battery lasts a long time without a charge. Free
map updates for the first thirty days after purchase. Small
enough to fit into your pocket and not be burdensome but still
big enough screen to navigate effortlessly while driving"
- J.Phoe (OR,USA)
